On Thursday night, June 24, unknown armed robbers burgled Rehoboth Radio Ng based in Amuloko way, Ona-ara LG, Ibadan, Oyo state again for the second time this year, as gathered by Primus Media City.
According to the radio team, it was a setback experience for the radio station for such to have happened at this particular time in the society. Some valuable equipment of the station: 1 Dell Laptop, 2 OX standing fan, 1 amplifier, and one big generator has been carted away.
It could be recalled that some months back, the same radio station was burgled and valuable things was destroyed and carted away before the founder restored many so as not to distort the growth of the station.
The founder of Rehoboth Radio Ng, Evang. (Dr) M.A Bogunmbe explicitly expressed his dissatisfaction over the incident where he claimed to have reported to Ona-ara Local Government Chairman and Ogbere Police Station Unit.
Rehoboth Radio Ng with the motto, “Palace of Entertainment” is an internet radio station, first of its kind in Ona-ara Local Government, saddled with the responsibility of informing and entertaining the community to enhance an egalitarian society.
