Queen of Ibadan Airwaves, Ronke Giwa-Onafuwa better known as “Ronnie G” have bowed out of the integrity station, Splash 105.5 FM Ibadan, capital of Oyo state.
For weeks now, there has been speculations and unconfirmed reports of her, resigning her position as a Presenter and Head of Social Media Department at Splash FM.
To corroborate the speculations, the very influential petit Mrs. Onafuwa has been sharing cryptic messages on her closely monitored social media platforms, thereby further giving credence to our speculations.
Finally, Primus Media City could authoritatively confirm that she has bowed out of the first private radio station in the South West, as the station has already stylishly bid her farewell on their official Social Media handles.
Ronke Giwa-Onafuwa joined the Ibadan based radio station over a decade ago as a Youth Corps member and diligently rose through the ranks to become not just a management staff of the station, but also one of the most influential On-Air-Personalities in the country.
As at press time, she is yet to officially declare but we expect that any time soon. Likewise she is yet to declare her next move, but if our speculations and permutations are right, she could also be heading one of the newly established radio stations in the city, billed to start broadcasting anytime soon.
